The Sweet Hereafter is a 1997 Canadian film written and directed by Atom Egoyan starring Ian Holm, Sarah Polley and Bruce Greenwood  and adapted from the novel of the same title by Russell Banks. The film tells the story of a school bus accident in a small town that results in the deaths of numerous children. A class-action lawsuit ensues, proving divisive in the community.
 Winner of the Grand Prix at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival, and two Academy Award nominations. Toronto International Film Festival critics named The Sweet Hereafter one of the ten best Canadian films of all time.

Passes are available now at the Perth and District Union Public Library (for screenings in Perth) and at the Smiths Falls Public Library (for screenings in Smiths Falls). The price is $75 for all nine films. Individual tickets may be available at the door for $10 each

Pass holders should arrive at the theatre at least 15 minutes ahead of screening time to ensure a guaranteed seat. After that time, we will begin to sell individual tickets. 
Please be advised that passes are not interchangeable between times and venues.

All profits after expenses from the Full Circle Theatre screenings will be donated to the Perth and District Union Public Library. Profits from the Station Theatre screenings will be donated to the Smiths Falls Public Library.
